Amancie Central DCE donates soccer equipment to Jacobu SH/T School

Mr. Emmanuel Dede Appiah, the District Chief Executive for the Amansie Central in the Ashanti Region has donated some sporting equipment to his alma mater, Jacubu Senior High Technical School.
The presentation was his widow's mite to the only Senior High School in the District as at now. The DCE who also double as the current president of the Old Student Association and a Board Member presented a set of Jersey, a set of football boots a number of footballs and a set of hose to the Headmaster of the School during the 57th Independence Anniversary of Ghana at Jacobu.

He noted that it was important to build every aspect of the human body including the brain and as students exercise is very important to remain strong and healthy to be able to successfully pursue academic excellence. As such Mr. Appiah urged the students especially the sports men and women to effectively blend academic performance with sports since research has proven that such combination rather helps academic performance.

He added that sports are full profession for some people and those who will take it seriously and devote time and energy can equally become one of those sports personalities they admire so much for their achievements.

The headmaster of the school Mr. Yao Agofor who received the items on behalf of the school commended the DCE for his commitment and determination to help the school overcome its challenges and pledged to ensure the equipments are put to good use to raise the name of the school high in sports.
