Some hard working workers in the Offinso North District have been honoured for their immense contributions towards the development of the district.
The four, who were recognized, included Elijah Ofori-Badu, Kamal-Din Mukhtar, Gbang Dorsah Dery, and Christian Pepprah Mensah.
District Chief Executive, Samuel Appiah-Kubi commended the entire staff for helping the assembly overcome a number of challenges and implementing programmes and policies geared towards improving the living conditions of the people.
According to him, the awardees just went the extra mile in the delivery of their duties and needed to be rewarded to boost their morale to do even better come next year.
Addressing the workers, the DCE reminded the workers of the task ahead in trying to meet the expectations of the people who look forward to improved social, economic, health and educational facilities.
He called for tolerance and the spirit of unity of purpose to roll out the programmes and policies that the assembly has formulated or requested to implement as a national agenda.
Mr. Elijah Ofori-Badu, Assistant Human Resource Officer was adjudged the overall best worker and took home 32' LED TV, while Kamal-Din Mukhtar, Gbang Dorsah Dery, and Christian Pepprah Mensah who placed second, third and fourth respectively took home mini-double decker fridge.
The DCE urged the staff to continue to give off their best and support all stakeholders to achieve better results for the people in the district.
