Francis K. Dzineku appointed MCE

The Ketu South Municipal Assembly will soon have a permanent Municipal Chief Executive subject to approval by Assembly Members of the President’s nominee.

President Mahama has in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462 appointed Mr. Francis K. Dzineku for consideration by the assembly members as the MCE.

Mr. Francis K. Dzineku has to be approved by a two third majority of assembly members for confirmation. When he is successful, he will replace Mr. Bernard Amable who was relieved of his post in July after serving four and a half years at the assembly as MCE.
