Farmers in the Keta Municipality (Keta Constituency) have been provided with an opportunity to access tractor services at a subsidized rate.
The Member of Parliament for Keta, Hon. Richard Quashigah made this possible by procuring a tractor that will be made available to the farmers at a reduced cost compared to other outlets.
According to him, accessing the service of the tractor at a reduced price will minimize their cost of production and increase their profit margins to enable them meet their needs. He also believes that the gesture will enable farmers to increase their land side for production.

ENI Foundation presents two ambulances to district Ellembele District
The Ellembelle district in the Western Region has taken delivery of two new ambulances to help facilitate health delivery in the district.
Two ambulances donated by EIN, forms just one part of support package that the health sector is receiving from the group.
The ambulances are aimed at ensuring smooth, effective and faster transportation of patients during emergencies and on referrals.

Residents laud establishment of CHPS centre at Agortoe

It was with excitement that people of Agortoe, a community in the Keta Municipality narrated their relief as far as the establishment of a clinic in the area has brought to them.
With funds from the Japan Embassy, the Agortoe community has health facility that ensures easy accessibility to health care especially during emergencies.
The community-based health planning service (CHPS) compound which is targeted at providing primary health care to residents in the area has ward, consulting room, OPD, store and sanitary facilities.It is also fitted with water harvesting and storage facilities.
Offinso North District rewards hard working staff
Some hard working workers in the Offinso North District have been honoured for their immense contributions towards the development of the district.
The four, who were recognized, included Elijah Ofori-Badu, Kamal-Din Mukhtar, Gbang Dorsah Dery, and Christian Pepprah Mensah.
District Chief Executive, Samuel Appiah-Kubi commended the entire staff for helping the assembly overcome a number of challenges and implementing programmes and policies geared towards improving the living conditions of the people.
Forty-five new bedsitter houses completed in the Keta Municipality
The 15 each bedsitter houses built at Adzido, Vodza, and Kedzi are targeted at providing suitable and conducive roof over the heads of residents who lost their houses as a result of the sea defense project.
The houses come in 3, 2, and 1 bedroom depending on the family size.
