Brisk business in the central business centre of Accra and other parts of the capital have returned a day after the Supreme Court affirmed the presidency of President John Dramani Mahama.
As early as 5am Friday morning, traders usually foodstuff sellers and cloths dealers occupied the pavements and other spaces they can find making brisk business and taking advantage of the absence of AMA Taskforce at the time since that freedom will be taken away as soon as the taskforce resumes work around 7am.
Many of the traders who missed out on making business on Thursday as well as those who also failed to buy their needs all hope to make the best of the day to make up for the loss.
Unlike on Thursday when vehicular traffic was basically absent due to people’s uncertainty of how reactions will be after the Supreme Court declaration, many roads were also very busy at the early hours of Friday signaling the capital will experience the usual Friday heavy traffic.
